ORDINANCE NO. 81- 2L,
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 81-31,
CORRECTING A TYPOGRAPHICAL ERROR.
On May 18, 1981 the City Council passed ordinance No.
81-31, entitled "Durham Annexation .9-81. "
The Planning Department Information Section of Ordinance
81-31 as presented to the City Council and passed on May 18
contained a typographical error. Tax Map 2S1 12D Lot 1400 should
read 2S1 13A Lot 1500. The listing of Tax Lots on Tax Map 2S1 12C
which reads 2200, 2300, 2301 should read 2200, 2203, 2301. The
legal description as presented to the City Council was correct.
However, the Map prepared by the Portland Metropolition area local
Government Boundary Commission as presented to the City Council
was incorrect. A revised fttap is attached.
Now, therefore, in order to avoid the possibility that
the error in Ordinance No. 81-31 might create confusion in the
future City Council does ordain as follows:
Section 1. Ordinance 81-31 is anended by changing the Tax
Map and Tax Lot Listing to read "2S1 13A 1500,2S1 13B 100,
101, 200, 201, and. 2S1 11-C 2200, 2203, 2301."
Section 2. That in as much as it is necessary for the peace,
eat and safety of the people of the City of Tigard that
this Ordinance go into effect with the least possible delay.,
an emergency is declared to exist and this ordinance shall
become effective upon its passage by the Council and signature
by the Mayor.
