AN ORDINANCE REPEALING ORDINANCE No. 81-67 DEALING WITH THE TIGARD COMMUNITY
YOUTH SERVICES TAX LEVY ELECTION, FIXING AN EFFECTIVE DATE AND DECLARING AN
EMERGENCY.
THE CITY OF TIGARD ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: That the special election of September 15, 1981, as called by
Ordinance No. 81-67 for the Tigard Community Youth Services
Tax Levy is no longer necessary and the Tigard City Council therefore
repeals Ordinance No. 81-67 'in its entirety.
Section 2: Inasmuch as it is necessary that the foregoing proposal not be
submitted to the legal voters of the City, and it being necessary
for the peace, health, and safety of the people of the City of Tigard that
the election not be held, an emergency is declared to exist, and this
ordinance shall take effect upon its passage by the Council and signature of
the Mayor.
