AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 81-35,
CORRECTING A TYPOGRAPHICAL ERROR.
On May 11, 1981 the City Council passed Ordinance No.
81-35, entitled "An Ordinance Requiring Permits for Certain
Events Using Amplified Sound and Amending Section 7.40.070 of
the Tigard Municipal Code. "
Section 1 of Ordinance 81-35 as presented to the City
Council and passed on May 11 contained a typographical error.
The reference in the first line of Section 1 should have been
to "Chapter 7.40 NUISANCES, " and not to "Chapter 7.40.070
NUISANCES. "
Now, therefore, in order to avoid the possibility that
the error in Ordinance No. 81-35 might create confusion in the
future the City Council does ordain as follows:
Section 1. Ordinance 81-35 is amended by the deletion
offigures ".070" from the first line of Section 1
of that ordinance.
Section 2. This ordinance shall become effective on the
31st day following its passage and signature.
