AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE No. 81-68 and 81-99 WHICH ADOPTED TEMPORARY RULES FOR !
COMPREHENSIVE PLAN REVISION HEARINGS AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.

THE CITY OF TIGARD ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: The City Council finds that Ordinance No. 81-68 and 81-99 are necessary for
the continued orderly conduct of public hearings before them for Comprehensive
Plan Revisions and wishes to amend Ordinance No. 81-99 by changing the effective date
stated in Section I of that ordinance as follows:
"This ordinance shall be of no force and effect after
January 31, 1982, or if otherwise superseded by ordinance of the Council."
Section 2: Inasmuch as the fair processing of Comprehensive Plan Revisions is necessary
to preserve the public health, safety and general welfare, an emergency is
declared to exist and this ordinance shall be effective upon passage and approval by the
City Council.
