AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 78-57 OF THE COMMUNITY SERVICES AND
TRANSPORTATION PLAN FOR THE TIGARD PLAN AREA, RELATING TO THE CITY'S STREET
CLASSIFICATION PLAN AND FIXING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
THE CITY OF TIGAP.D ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS:

Section l: Street Classification Plan. The Transportation System Section of the
Czty of Tigard'T Community Services and Transportation Plan is
hereby amended with the following addition:
"The City of Tigard recognizes that its existing street classification
plan is at variance with that of MSDDIs (CRAG Interim Transportation Plan)
functional street classification plan. In addition, the prevailing
complexity of street jurisdictions (as specified in the Transportation
Section of the Tigard Community Services and Transportation Plan) and uncertain
responsibilities in the Tigard Plan Area thwarts an effective street
classification and maintenance program.
However, upon the adoption of a Regional Transportation Plan by MSD,
the City will reconsider and reopen the Tigard Plan in order to
eliminate any jurisdictional (either state or county) and/or
Regional Plan inconsistencies."
