AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE SOLID WASTE CHAPTER OF THE COMMUNITY SERVICES AND
TRANSPORTATION PLAN BY ADDING A THIRD POLICY AND FIXING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
THE CITY OF TIGARD ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That the following policy be added to the solid waste section of
the Community Services and Transportation Pian:
"3. Solid Waste disposal is a regional concern requiring regional
solutions. The City of Tigard recognizes MSD's responsibility
and authority to prepare and implement a solid waste management
plan and will participate in siting procedures as appropriate."
SECTION 2: This ordinance shall be effective on and after the 31st day
after its enactment by the City Council and approval by the
Mayor.
