THE ORDINANCE ATTENDING SECTION 18.40.011 COMMERCIAL--PROFESSIONAL
ZONE (C-P) OF THE TIGARD MUNICIPAL CODE,AND FIXING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS it has been found that a veterinarian office and
animal hospital is a conditional use in the Main Street Commercial
Zonae (C-3M) and General Commercial Zone (C--3) ; and
WHEREAS, the City finds a need to add veterinarian office
and animal hospitals as conditional uses in a Commercial-Professional
Zone (C-P)-.
NOW, THEREFORE,
THE CITY OF TIGARD ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: The Tigard Municipal Code, Section 18.40.011
Commercial-Professional Zone (C-P), Conditional
Uses, be amended to reaa as follows:
18.40.011 Conditional Uses. In this zone the following
uses and their accessory uses are permitted as conditional
uses when in accordance with the procedural requirements of
Chapter 18.84:
(1) Governmental structures or lard uses;
(2) Lounges and nightclubs;
(3) Medium-rise apartment or office buildings (four
stories or above) ;.
(4) Motels and hotels;
(5) Multifamily dwellings, subject to the regulations
and site restrictions of Chapter 18.24;
(6) Restaurants;
(7) Theaters;
(8) Veterinarian's office and animal hospitals;
(9) Limited commercial uses if integrated within office-
park, including confectioneries, barbershops, beauty
r shops, delicatessens, pharmacies, florist shops,
gift shops, shoe repair shops;
(10) Similar uses if approved by the planning commission.
Section 2: This ordinance shall be effective on and after the
31st day after its enactment by the City Council
and approval by the Mayor.
