CITY OF TIGARD, OREGON
ORDINANCE No. 77-_19L
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 2.44, TIGARD MUNICIPAL CODE, RELATING TO
CITY COUNCIL COMPENSATION AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
THE CITY OF TIGARD ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: Chapter 2.44.010, Tigard Municipal Code, is hereby amended
to read as follows:
"2.44.010 Compensation.j For attendance at each meeting of the
City Council, each duly appointed or elected Councilman and
the Mayor shall be entitled to compensation at the rate of
fifteen dollars per meeting, provided that compensation to
any one member or the Mayor shall not exceed sixty dollars
per month."
Section 2: For the purpose of administering this ordinance and in
compliancewith the 1977-78 adopted budget, this ordinance
shall be effective as of July 1, 1977 and the Finance Director
is hereby authorized and instructed to compute and make
+ payment on that basis.
