7- 6J_AN ORDINANCE DECLARING THE CITY'S ELECTION TO RECEIVE STATE REVENUES AND
SETTING AN EFFECTIVE DATE AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
THE CITY OF TIGARD ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS:
Section_ 1: Pursuant to C-Engrossed SB-11, adopted by the 1977 legislative
assembly, the City hereby elects to receive state revenues for
the fiscal year 1977-78.
Section 2: Inasmuch as it is required by Senate Bill 11 that an
ordinance must be enacted by July 31, 1977 to be
eligable to receive state revenue sharing funds, an
emergency is hereby declared to exist, and this ordinance
shall be effective upon its passage by the Council, and
approval by the Mayor.
PASSED: By unan'iot. vote of all Council members present,
after being read three times by number and title only,
