All ORDINANCE Al ENDING AND SUPPLE'14ENTING C JPTER 10.25, OF THE
TIGARD MJNICIPAL CODE BY ADDING TO SECTION 10.23.130 TO PROHIBIT
PARKING ON S. :'. SUI""ERFIELD DRIVE, BET.;TREN DURHAM ROAD AND
ALDERBROOK DRIVE, DECLARING AN DIERGENCY AND FIXING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
THE CITY OF TIGARD ORDAINS AS FOLLO;IS:
Section 1: That Section 10.2,0.130 of the Tigard Municipal Code,
relating, to locations where parking is prohibited at
any time, be, and the same is hereby amended and supplemented -to
add thereto a new subsection reading as follows:
"10.23.130 Prohibited at any time. No person shall at
any time park or leave standing a vehicle of any kind or
character, whether motorized or not, and whether attended or
unattended, within the following defined portions of public
streets and highways within the city:
( ) �•rithin the right-of-way of S.W. Summerfield Drive,
extending from the intersection thereof wi'uh the north right-
of-ivay line of S.(. Durham Road to the intersection thereof
with the :rest right-of-;-iay line of S.',,.!. Alderbrook Drive".
Section 2: That the City Administrator be and he is hereby
authorized and directed to cause to have the areas in
which ark is prohibited as above set forth suitably posted in
the manner provided by law.
Section 3: inasmuch as this parking prohibition is necessary -to
protect the health, safety* and general vrelfare of the
public and in particular pedestrians on said Street an emergency is
recognized to exist and is hereby declared and this ordinance shall
become effective immediately upon passage and approval by the City
Council.
PASSED: By the City Council by vote of all Council
members present, afterbeing read three times try
number and -title only, this 13 day of ,yx ne , 1977.
