CITY OF TIGARD, OREGON
ORDINANCE No. 77- 1
AN ORDINANCE ABOLISHING THE LIEN SEARCH FEE AS ADOPTED BY ORDINANCE No.
67-79, AS CODIFIED BY CHAPTER 2.52, SEARCH FEE, TIGARD MUNICIPAL CODE,
AND FIXING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
THE CITY OF TIGARD ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: The City Council finds that under the provisions of
Ordinance No. 67-79 and codified as Chapter 2.52 of
the Tigard Municipal Code, the City is authorized to charge a lien
search fee for searching city bancroft bond docket and lien
docket records.
Section 2: The City Council further finds Ordinance No. 67-79, as
codified in Chapter 2.52 of the Tigard Municipal Code is no
longer necessary due to a policy change whereby the City no Longer
provides a lien search service and therefore Chapter 2.52, of the
Tigard Municipal Code, is hereby deleted in its entirety.
Section 3: This ordir.:ance shall be effective on the 31st day after
