ORDINANCE No. 76- 20
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND SUPPLEMENTING CHAPTER 10.28, OF THE
TIGARD MUNICIPAL CODE BY ADDING TO SECTION 10.28.130 TO PROHIBIT
PARKING.ON ALL THAT PORTION OF S.W. 69th AVENUE LYING SOUTHERLY
OF S.W. PACIFIC HIGHWAY, AND FIXING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
THE CITY OF TIGARD ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: That Section 10.28.130 of the Tigard Municipal Code,
relating to locations khere parking is prohibited at
any time, be, and the same is hereby amended and supplemented to
add thereto a new subsection reading as follows:
"10.28.130 Prohibited at any time. No person shall at
any time park or leave standing a vehicle of any kind or
character, whether motorized or not, and whether attended or
unattended, within the following defined portions of public
streets and highways within the city:"
"(21) On all that portion of S.W. 69th Avenue lying 'souther
of S.W. Pacific Highway."
Section 2: That the City Administrator be and he is hereby authorized
and directed to cause to have the areas ir_ which parking
is prohibited as above set forth suitably posted in the manner provided
by law.
Section 3:_ This ordinance shall be effective on and after the
31st day after its passage by the Council.
