ORDINANCE NO. 75 -
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND SUPPLEMENTING CHAPTER 10,28, PARKING,
OF THE TIGARD MUNICIPAL CODE BY ADDING THERETO NEW PROVISIONS
DESIGNATED AS SECTION 10.28.135 PROHIBITING PARKING ALONG A
PORTION OF THE SOUTHERLY SIDE OF S. W. JOHNSON STREET, FIXING
AN EFFECTIVE DATE AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY,
THE CITY OF TIGARD ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: That Chapter 10.28 of the Tigard Municipal Code,
entitled Parking, be and the same is hereby amended
and supplemented to add tie rreto a new pub-section reading as
follows:
"Section 10.28.135 Parking Prohibited 8:00 A.M. to
6:00 P.M. -- No person-shall. park or leave standing
a ve icle of any kind or character, whether motorized
or not, between the hours of 8:00 A.M. and 6:00 P.M.
on any day of the week, including Saturday and Sunday,
on the Southerly one-half of the following portion
of S. W. Johnson Street, in the City of Tigard, Oregon;
That portion of the Southerly one-half
(1/2) of S. W. Johnson Street lying
Westerly of and within 400 feet of the
Northwesterly right of way line of S. W.
Pacific Highway.
( Section 2: That inasmuch as the continued unrestricted parking
in the area above described constitutes a hazard
to the peape, health and safety of the people of the City of
Tigard, an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this
Ordinance shall become effective upon its passage by the

Council and approval by the Mayor.

Council members present,after being read three
times by number and title only, this__j4day of
