AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 75-1 WITH RESPECT TO SOLICITA-
TION OF BIDS FOR CONSTRUCTION OF IMPROVEMtNTS WITHIN THE BOUNDARIES
OF "STREET IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT No. 1.20.2 (S. W. HUNZIKER STREET)",
FIXING AN EFFECTIVE DATE AND DECLARXNG AN EMERGENCY.
THE' CTTY OF TIGARD ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: That Section 7 of Ordinance No. 75-1 adopted by the
City Council on the 13th day of January, 1975, be
and the same is hereby amended to read as follows:
"Section 7: That the Public Works Department of the
City, under the direction of the City
Administrator, be and it is hereby directed to invite
bids for the construction of improvements within the
boundaries of "Street Improvement District No. 1.20.2
(S. W. Hunziker Street)" by publication in the Tigard
Times, a newspaper published in the City of Tigard,
Oregon, in two consecutive issues thereof, the first
publication to be not less than ten (10) days prior
to the date herein designated for the opening of bids,
which is hereby fixed for the _Zg7_day of April, 1975,
at tle hour of 4:00 o'clock P.M. , at the Tigard City
Hall, 12420 S. W. Main Street, Tigard, Oregon, at which
date, time and place all proposals then at.hand shall
be publicly opened and read."
Section 2: That inasmuch as it is necessary for the peace,
health and safety of the people of the City of
Tigard that the bids be obtained with the least possible delay
in order that the said improvements may be constructed during
the forthcoming construction season, an emergency is hereby
declared to exist and this ordinance shall. become effective
upon its passage by the council and approval by the Mayor.

members present, after, eing read three times by
title and number, this V day of March, 1975.
