PROCEDURES" OF THE TIGARD MUNICIPAL CODE (asadopted by Ordinance
No.73-30) TO REFER TO SECTION 18.$5.091; FIXING EFFECTIVE DATF AND
DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
THE CITY OF TIGARD ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS:
Section. 1: That the final paragraph of Section 2 of Ordinance No.
73-30, being Section 2.08.071 of the Tigard Municipal
Code; be, and the same is, hereby amended to read as follows:
112.08.071. Hearing Procedures. Procedures fo:the
conduct or hearings as prescribed by Section
18.85.091 of the Tigard Municipal Code (Ordinance
No.74- ) shall apply with respect to the conduct
of he wings by the Hearings Officer."
Section 2: Inasmuch as it is necessary for the peace, health and
safety of the people of the City of Tigard that the pro-
visions of the Tigard Municipal Code relating to the conduct of
land use hearings be brought into conformity with statutory pro
visions and amendments adopted'by the 1974 Legislative Session, an
emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance shall
become effective upon its passage by, the Council and approval by
the Mayor.
PASSED: By unanimous vote of all Council members present, after
being read three times by number and title only
