ORDINANCE No. 73- 27
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE No. 71.25 RELATING TO THE
COLLECTION, HAULING AND DISPOSAL AND STORAGE OF WASTE MATERIALS
THE CITY OF TIGARD ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS:
Section It Subsection (c) of Section 2 of Ordinance No. 71-25
is hereby amended to read as follows:
(c) "Can" means a metal storage container for solid waste with
bails (handles) and a tight fitting lid or cover and not
exceeding a capacity of 32 gallons nor a loaded gross weight
of 60 pounds. It is recommended that such a can shall not
be sunk into a receptacle in the ground.

Section 2: This ordinance shall be effective on and after the
31st day after passage by the Council and approval of the Mayor.
PASSED: By the Council, by unanimous vote of all Council members
present, after being read three times by title and
number this 24th day of September , 1973.
