AN ORDINANCE AMENDING oRDIN.ANCM No. 71-21 RELATING TO THE
COLLECTION NABLING AND DISPOSAL AND STORAGE WASTE MAf$RIALS
THE CITY OF TIGARD ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS%
Section la Subsection (c) of Section 2 of ordinance NO. 71-21 is
hereby amenc.ed to read as follows:
(c) "Can" means a metal storage container for solid waste with
bails (handles) and a tight fitting lid or cover and not
exceeding a capacity of 32 gallons nor a loaded groes weight
of 59 pounds. It is recommended that such a can shall not
be sunk into a receptacle in the ground.
Section 2: This ordinance shall be effective on and after the
31st day after passage by the Council and approval of the Mayor.
PASSED: By the Council, by unanimous vote of all Council members
present, after being read three times by title and
number this 24th day of member ,1973.
