AN ORDINANCE AMENDING Section 2,114.010 of the 5'IGARD MUNICIPAL
CODE, TO INCREASE THE RATE OF COMPENSATION FOR ATTENDANCE AT MEETINGS
OF THE CITY COUNCIL BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCILMEN FROM $7.50 PER MEET-
ING TO $15. PER MEETING, AND INCREASING THE MAXIMUM MONTHLY ALLOWANCE
FROM $37.50 TO $45. PER MOPING AND FIXING EFFECTIVE DATE.
THE CITY OF TIGARD ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: That Section 2.44.010 of the Tigard Municipal Code be,
and the same is, hereby amended to read as follows:
112.44.010 Compensation. For attendance at each regular,
or legally called special, meeting of the city council,
each duly appointed or elected councilman an- the mayor
shall be entitled to compensation at the rate of Fifteen
Dollars ($15.) per meeting, provided that compensation to
any one member or the mayor shall not exceed Forty-five
Dollars ($45.) per month."
Section That this ordinance shall be effective on and after the
31st day after its passage by the Council and approval
by the Mayor,
PASSED: By unanimous vote of all Council members present, after
being read three times by number and title only,
