AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 18.40 (Commercial-Professional
Zone C-P) 09 THE TIGARD MUNICIPAL, CODE BY ADDING THERETO Section
18.40.011 TO PRESCRIBE CONDI`1'IONAL USES, PRESCRIBING EFFECTIVE DATE
AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
THE CITY. OF TIGARD ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: That Chapter 18.40 (Commercial-Professional lone C-P)
—' of the Tigard Municipal Code as adopted by the Council
on October 9,1972 be, and the same is hereby, amended and supplemented
to add thereto a new section numbered 18.40.011 - Conditional Uses -,
reading as follows:
1118.40.011 - Conditional Uses - In this zone the following
uses and their accessory uses are permitted as conditional
uses when in accordance with the procedural requirements
of Chapter 18.8 : of the Tigard Municipal Code.
a. Governmental Structures or Land Uses
b. Lounges and Night Clubs
G. Medium Rise Apartment or Office Buildings
(4 stories or above)
d. Motels and Hotels
e. Restaurants
f. Theaters
g. Limited Commercial uses if integrated within
office-park, including confectioneries,
barber shops, beauty shops, delicatessens,
pharmacies, florist shops, gift shops,
shoe repair shops
h. Similar uses if approved by Planning Commission
Section 2: Inasmuch as it is necessary for the peace, health and
safety of the people of the City of Tigard that the land
use classifications and zoning regulations of. the City of Tigard
currently reflect all changes, modifications, supplements and amend-
ments ments thereto, thereby,to preserve the integrity of land use require-
meats, an emergency is hereby declared to exist, and this ordinance
shall be effective upon its passage by the Council and approval of
the Mayor.

being read three times by number and title only
