AN ORDINANCE REPEALING Ordinance No.67-15 and Sections 12.04,160,
12,04.170, 12.04.180 and 12.04.190 OF THE TIGARD MUNICIPAL CODE PRE-
SCRIBING SUPPLEMENTAL SEWER CONNECTION CHARGES AND MATTERS RELATED
']THERETO; PRESCRIBING EFFECTIVE DA'T'E FOR REPEAL THEREOF, AND DECLARING
AN EMERGENnY.
THE CITY OF TIGARD ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: The City Council finds that inasmuch as the City of
Tigard and all area thereof has heretofore been included
within the ,jurisdiction of the Unified Sewerage Agency of Washington
County, and that the ordinances, orders, rules and regulations of
said Agency have replaced and superseded the requirements of Ordi-
nance No.67-15 heretofore adopted by the Council on February 13, 1967
and that the provisions of Ordinance 67-15 were heretofore codified
and included as Sections 12.04.160, 12.04,170, 12,04.180 and 12.04.190
of the Tigard Municipal Code.
Section 2: That Ordinance No. 67-15 and the codification thereof
included within Sections 12.011.160, 1.2.04.170, 12.04.180
and 12.04.190 of the Tigard Municipal Code, be, and the same are,
hereby repealed effective with the effective date of this ordinance.
Section 3: Inasmuch as it is'neceasary for the peace, health and
safety of the people of the City of Tigard that Ordi-
nance No. 67-15 and the codification thereof included within See
tions 12.04.160, 12.04.170, 1.2.04.180 and 12.04.190 of the Tigard
Municipal Code, having been superseded by the ordinances, rules
orders and regulations of the Unified Sewerage Agency of Washington
County, be repealed with the least possible delay, an emergency is
hereby declared to exist, and this ordinance shall be effective upon
its passage by the Council and approval of the Mayor.
