AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE No. 70-42 (City of Tigard

BY AMENDING AND SUPPLEMENTING Section 303(b) OF THE UNIFORM BUILDING
CODE TO ESTABLISH APPLICABLE FEES FOR PLAN-CFIECKING SERVICES FOR
REPEATED USE OF THE SA Z OR SUBSTANTIALLY SIMILAR BUILDING PLANS COVER-
ING RESIDEN'PI.AL UNITS AS PART OF ONE DEVELOPMENT; ADOPTING THE 1972
ACCUMULATIVE SUPPLEMENT TO THE UNIFORM BUTAXING CODES, REPEALING

THE CITY OF TIGARD ORDAINS AS FOLL,C74S:
Sect_Agn le That Section 303(b) - Plan-Checking Fees - of Volume I,
1970 Edition of the Uniform Building Code, adopted by
Ordinance No. 70-42 enacted by the City Council on October 26, 1970,
is hereby amended to read as follows:
"(b) Pinn-Checking Fees, Group 1 and JT ncnupancies involving
repented use of the same or substantially similar building plans
covering residential units as part of one development, the fee
for plan-checking services with respect to the second and suc-
cessive permits shall be computed at the rate of $10, per
permit."
Section 2: That the UNIFORM BUILDING CODES ACCUMULATIVE SUPPLEMENT
1972 as published by the International Conference of
Building Officials, 5360 South Workman Mill Road, Whittier, California
90601, is hereby adopted, and Ordinance No. 70-42 enacted by the City
Council on October 26, 1970 entitled "City of Tigard Uniform Building
Code of 1970, and the Uniform Building Code Volumes I, II, III, IV and
V, and the Standards for Volume I, 1970 Editions, as adopted by said
Ordinance No. 70-42, are hereby amended to conform to the provisions
of said UNIFORM BUILDING CODES ACCUMULATIVE SUPPLEMENT 1972, which Sup-
plement by this reference is made a part hereof to the same legal force
and effect as if set forth in full in Ordinance No. 70-42, and to the
same legal force and effect as if set forth herein in full.
Not less than three (3) copies of said UNIFORM BUILDING
CODES ACCUMULATIVE SUPPLEMENT 1972 shall be kept and maintained on
file in the office of the City Recorder of Tigard for use and examina-
tion by the public, pursuant to Chapter 221.330 ORS.
Section_3: To the extent, if any, that any provisions of Ordinance
No. 70-42 or the said Uniform Building Codes Volumes I,
II, III, IV and V and the Standards for Volume I, 1970 Editions, "
shall be inconsistent with the provisions of this amendatory ordinance,

amended in conformity herewith.
