ORDINANCE No.72--4-
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE TRANSFER TO THE
"SEWER FUND" OF THE CITY OF TIGARD, OF THE BALANCE REMAINING IN THE
SEWER CONSTRUCTION FUND• FIXING EFFECTIVE DATE AND DECLARING EMERGENCY.
THE CITY OF TIGARD ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: The City Council finds that there remains a balance of
$740,55 in the City's Sewer Construction Fund as created
by, Ordinance No.62-26 and that there exists no outstanding obliga-
tions properly payable therefrom.
Section 2: The Council further finds that the said balance should
properly be transferred to and merged with the "Sewer
Fund" of the City of Tigard.
Section 3: The City Recorder be, and she is hereby, authorized and
directed pursuant to §294.475 ORS to transfer the balance
existing in said Sewer Construction Fund, to-wit: X740.55, to the
"Sewer Fund", and to close out the said Sewer Construction Fund.
Section 4: Inasmuch as it is necessary for the peace, health and
safety of the people of the City of Tigard that the
accounting procedures cf the City be kept and maintained in current
condition at all times and that all matters be timely concluded, an
emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance shall become `
effective upon its passage by the Council and approval by the Mayor.
PASSED: By unanimous vote of all Council members present, after
being read three times by number and title only,
