ORDINANCE No.72-
AN ORDlNANCE AMENDING Ordinance No.62-10 PROVIDING FOR PAYMENT
OF COMPENSATION TO MEMBERS OF THE CITY COUNCIL AND THE MAYOR OF THE
CITY OF TIGARD FOR ATTENDANCE AT COUNCIL MEETINGS.
THE:"CITY'OF TIGARD ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: That Section 1 of Ordinance No. 62-10 be, and the same
Is hereby, amended to read as follows:
"Section 1: That for attendance I.t each regular, or
legally called special, meeting of the
City Council of the City of Tigard, Oregon, each duly
appointed or elected councilman and the Mayor shall be
entitled to compensation at the rate of SEVEN and 50/100
DOLLARS ($7.50) per meeting, provided that compensation
to any one member or the Mayor shall not exceed THIRTY-
SEVEN and 50/100 ($37.50) per month."
Section 2: That any amounts heretofore paid,pursuant to Ordinance
No. 62-10 not in excess of the rates hereinabove sem
forth, be, ;and the same are, hereby approved, ratified and allowed
as proper expenditures.
Section 3: This ordinance shall become effective on and after. the
31st day after Its passage by the Council and approval
by the Mayor. ,
PASSED: By. unanimous vote of all Council members present, after
being read three times by number and title only
