WHEREAS, the owners of t;ze hereinafter described lands have
petitioned the Citv of Tigard to annex the same to the city, and have
filed consent to said annexation with the City Recorder under date of

Section Is ?hat all f the fallcwarg described lands be, and the same
are,, hereby annexed to the itv or 'Tigard, and the boundaries
of the City of Tigard be, and they, aro, fereby extended to include the
' following described lands within tle said boundaries;

The following described property situated in the County of
Washington and State of Oregon, to-wit:
Beginning 20 chains South of the North line of Section 12 Town-
ship 2 South, Range 1 West of the Willamette Meridian, and 39.95
chains West of the East line of said Section; thence Southerly
and parallel with the East line of said Section. 212.70 feet;
thence Easterly and parallel with the North line of said Section
424.50 feet to a point 75 feet Westerly from the center of the
Oregon Electric Company's right-of-way; thence Northerly and
parallel with said right of way 215.40 feet; thence Westerly and
parallel with the North line of said Section 392.88 feet to the
place of beginning.
Section 2: That the Recorder of the City of Tigard be, and she is
hereby directed, within 10 days from the date hereoZ,
to mase and submit to the Secretary of State of Oregon:
a. A certified copy of this ordinance of annexation
b. A certified copy of the statement of consent of the
landowners in the territory annexed
c. A certified copy of Ordinance No. 69-53 whereby the
City Council declared that no elect�.on is required
in the City,
and to file. herein the acknowledgment of the Secretary of State of
said filing.
Section 3: That the Recorder of the City of Tigard be, and she is
hereby directed, within 10 days from the date hereof, to
file with each of the Department of Revenue and Taxation and the
Department of Records and Elections of the County of Washington,
the following:
a. A certified copy of this ordinance of annexation
b. A certified copy of Ordinance No. 69 53
and that a copy of this Ordinance be directed to t`hie Office of the
Washington County Surveyor, and to file herein the acknowledgments
of said Departments of said filings.
Section 4: - The annexation hereby ordained shall be effective on the
}" date of filing with the Secretary of State of Oregon the
copies of proceedings as in Section-2 hereof required to be filed,
and from and after said date the hereinabove described and annexed
territory shall be and remain a part of the City of Tigard.
PASSEDa By the Council, by unanimous vote of all Council members
present, after being read three times by number and
title only, this day of July 1969.
