ORDINANCE No. 69 -
AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A ZONE CHANGE WITH RESPECT TO THE LANDS OF
Fred W, Fields in Section 1 & Section 2, T2S, R1W, P:.M.
TIGARD, WASHINGTON COUNTY, OREGON
WHEREAS, the hereinafter described lands, by action of the
City Council of the City of Tigard, Oregon, pursuant to the Zoning
Code of said City, have heretofore been limited in the use to those uses
permitted by said Code, under, and have been classified and zoned
and
for, R-7 (Residential)
WHEREAS, pursuant to prescribed procedures, the owners of
said lands have applied to the City or Tigard for reclassification of
said property and change of zone thereof co permit the use thereof
for A-2 (Multiple Dwelling) purposes, and said application has
been duly publicized and public hearing held by the City Planning
Commission on March 18, 1969 after due and legal notice; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has recommended approval
of said zone change to the City Council, and due and legal notice of
City Council hearing having been given by publication in the T,' -
Times, and the City Council having heard same at its regular meeting
of and the Council finding that no public
detrime wi-h resu t from granting of said petition, and that he is
in the public interest that said zone change be approved, and the lands
re-zoned from R-7 (Residential) to A-2 (Multiple Dwelling)
NOW, THEREFORE,
THE CITY OF TIGARD ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: That the following described lands be, and the same are
hereby, zoned as A-2 for use in accordance with the
A-2 (Multiple Dwelling) classification of the Zoning Code of
the City of Tigard, which Zoning Code with respect to the A-2
classification is by reference herein made a part hereof:
Beginning at the Northwest corner of the South one-half of Lot 1,
EDGEWOOD, a recorded subdivision in Washington County, Oregon, thence
South 88'059' 45" East along the North line of the said South one-half,
566 feet, more or less to the center of Fanno Creek; thence South-
easterly along the center of Fanno Creek to a point on the South line
of that certain roadway described in Hook 315, page 388, Washington
County deeds records; thence West along the South line of the said
roadway strip 40 feet more or less to a.i angle point in said South
line; thence North 790 301 [-jest, continuing along the said roadway strip,
S4.6 feet to an angl& in said roadway stripe-thence West. continuing:
along the said South line, 646.8 feet, more or less, to a Point of
intersection with the Wes11 t line of Lot 2, Baiu EDGENoOD SUBDIVISION;

more or less, to the point of beginning-----------------------------
subject the rights of the public to that portion of the
above deser parcel within the right-of-way of State highway 317
Section 7: This ordinance shall be effective on the 31st day after
its enactment by the City Council of. Tigard, Oregon.
PASSED: By unanimous vote of all Council members present, after
being read three times by number and title only, 196 '
