AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A ZONE C11ANGE WITH RESPECT TO THE LANDS OF
Henry R. Potter and .lean Audrey Potter in Sec. 34, T1S, R1W, W.M.
TIGARD, WASHINGTON CGUNTY, OREGON
WHEREAS, the hereinafter described lands, by action of the
City Council of the City of Tigard, Oregon, pursuant to the Zoning
Code of said City, have heretofore been limited in the use to those uses
permitted by said Code, under, and have been classified and zoned
for, Washington County SR. (Suburban Residential) and
WHEREAS, pursuant to prescribed procedures, the owners of
�. said lands have applied to the City of Tigard for reclassification of
said property and change of zone thereof to permit the use thereof
for R-7 (Single Family Res idential)ourposes, and said application has
been duly publicized and ppublic hearing held by the City Planning
Commission on February 18, 1969 after due and legal notice; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has recommended approval
of said zone change to the City Council, and due and legate notice of
City Council hearing having been given by publication in the Tigard
Times, and the City Council having heard same at its regular meeting
of. March 10, 1969 , and the Council finding that no public
dot riment�wa l�resu t rom granting of said petition, and that it is ,
in the public interest that said zone change be approved, and the lands
re-zoned .from SR (Suburban Residential) to R-7 (Single Family Residential)
NOW, THEREFORE,
r THE CITY OF TIGARD ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1:;, That the foilowinq described lands be, and the same are
a• hereby,Lzoned as R-7 for use in accordance with the
R-7 (Single Family Residential) classification of the Zoning Code of
r the City of Tigard, 'which Zoning Code with respect to the R-7 R�
4. classification is by reference herein made a part hereof:
All of.the West 660 feet of the following described tract of land
Beginning at an iron pi8e on the westerly line of said Section 34,
said pipe being North 0 06' Nest 655.49 feet of the Southwest corner
of said Section 34; running thence North 890 52' East 1331.6 feet to

. thence North 00 10' West 328.07 feet to a point; thence South 840 51'
West 1321.21 feet to a point on the westerly line of said Section 34;

Section 22: This ordinance shall be effective on the 31st day after
