ORDINANCE No. 69
AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A ZONE CHANGE WITH RESPECT YO THE LANDS OF
R. A. Johnson, in Section 1, T2S, R1W, W.M.
TIGARD, WASHINGTON COUNTY, OREGON
WHEREAS, the hereinafter described lands, by action of the
City Council of the City of Tigard, Oregon, pursuant to the Zoning
Code of said City, have heretofore been limited in the use to those uses
permitted by said Code, under, and have been classified and zoned
and
for, R-7 (Residential)
WHEREAS, pursuant to prescribed procedures, the owners of
said lands have applied to the City of Tigard for reclassification of
saia property and change of zone thereof to permit the use thereof
for M-3 (Light industrial) purposes, and said application has
been duly publicized and public hearing held by the City Planning
Commission on February 18, 126.2,__after due and legal noticer and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has recommended approval
of said zone change to t1le City Council, and due and legatenotice of
City Council hearing having been given by publication in the Tigard
Times, and the City Council having heard same at its regular meeting
of K"gtY 10,_1969 and the Council finding that no public
detriment--will rasa t rom granting of said petition, and that it is
in the public interest that said zone change be approved, and the lards
re-zoned from R-7 (Residential) to M 3 (Light Industrial)
NOW, THEREFORE,
THE CITY OF TIGARD ORDAINS A5 FOLLOWS:
Section 1: That the following described lands be, and the same are
hereby, zoned as M-°3 for use in accordance with the i
M-3 (Light Industrial) classification of the Zoning Code of
the City of Tigard, which Zoning Code with respect to the M-3
classification is by reference herein made a part hereof:
Beginning at the south quarter section corner of Section 1, T2S,
;R1W, of the Willamette Meridian, and running thence North 880 50' East 747.10
;.feet to an iron pipe and the true point of beginning; thence continuing North
880 50' East 100.0 feet ton iron pipe; thence North 10 10' West 262.22 feet
to-s,point; thence North 59$ 49' West 117.20 feet to a point; thence South 10 10'
East 323.34 feet to the true point of beginning; excepting that portion :Lying
in a public roadway.
Section 2 This ordinance shall be effective on the 31st day after
its enactment by the City Council of Tigard, Oregon.
PASSED: By unanimous vote of all Council members presetit, after
being read three times by number and titlel- only,
