AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 66-20 AS HERETOFORE
AMENDED BY ADDING THERETO A NEW SUB"SECTION DESIGN&TED 482 -316T
(4) PROHIBITING LEFT TURN FROM PACIFIC HIGHWAY WEST INTO S. W.
87TH AVENUE AND PROHIBITING LEFT TURN UPON ENTERING PACIFIC
HIGHWAY WEST FROM S. Id. 87TH AVENUE AIM PRESCRIBINQ AN EFFECTIVE

THE CITY OF 7:IGARD ORDAINS AS FOLLOL4S:
Section 1: Section 483.316T of Ordinance No. 66-20 as adopted by
the City Council on the 11th day of April, 1966, and
as heretofore amended be and the same is hereby amended and supple-
mented to acid thereto Sub-section (4) reading as follows:
4. (a) Pursuant to the authority contained in
Section 483.316 (3) Oregon Revised Statutes,
the driver of a vehicle shall not enter S. W.
87th Avenue at the intersection thereof with
Pacific Highway West (9914) from the North
bound lanea of said Paarfic Highway West and
all left turns at the iutersection of S. W.
87th Avenue and Pacific Highway West be and
the sai:e are hereby prohibited.
(b) The driver of a vehicle shall not enter
the north bound lanes of Pacific Highway West
(99W) from S. W. 87th Avenue at the intersection
thereof and a driver of a vehicle shall not make
a left turn from S. W. 87th Avenue at the inter-
section thereof with Pacific Highway West (99W).
(c) The Director of Public Works for the
City of Tigard be and he is hereby authorized
and directed in cooperation with the State
Highway Department to cause to have appropriate
markers or signs installed at the intersection
cf S. W. 87th Avenue arZ Pacific Highway West
(99W) to advise motorise. that the left turns
hereinabove described are prohibited.
Section 2e This ordinance shall be effective on and after
31st day of its passage by the City Council
and approval by the Mayor.
PASSED: By the Council, unanimous vote of all Council members
present, after being read three times by title and
number only, this 26 day of Augist, 1968.
