ORDINANCE No.68
AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A ZONE CHANGE WITH RESPECT TO THE LANDS OF
IVAN E. PULLER AND GRACE M. PULLER, in Sec. 12, T2S, R1W, W.M.
TIGARD WASHINGTON COUNTY, OREGON
WHEREAS, the hereinafter described lands, by action of the
City Council of the City of Tigard, Oregon, pursuant to the Zoning
Code of said City, have heretofore been limited in use to those uses
permitted by said Code, under, and have been classified and zoned
for, R-7 (Residential) and
WHEREAS, pursuant to prescribed procedures, the owners of
said lands have applied to the City of Tigard for reclassification of
said property and change of zone thereof to permit Che use thereof
for A-2 (Multiplc Dwelling) purposes, and said application has
been duly publicized and public hearing held by the City Planning
Commission on December 19, 1967 after due and legal notice; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has recommended approval
Of said zone change to the City .Council, and due and legal notice of
City Council hearing having been given by publication in the Tigard
'Dimes, and the City Council having heard same at its regular meeting
of Januar, 22 1968 , and the Council finding that no public
detriment will result from granting of said petition, and that it is
inthepublic interest that said zone change be approved, and the lands
re-zoned from R-7 (Residential) to A-2 (Multiple Dwelling)
NOW, THEREFORE,
THE CITY OF TIGARD ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: That the following described lands be, and the same are
hereby, zoned as A-2 - for use in accordance with the
A-2 (Multiple Dwelling) classific tion of' thc Zoning Code of
the city of Tigard, which Zoning Code with respect to the A-2
classification is by reference herein made a part hereof:
West 2 acres of Lot (5) in Wilson Acres as tier recorded plat
thereof on file in the office of the recorder of conveyances for
Said County of Washington, Stato-of Oregon, more particularly
described as beginning at Southwest turner of said Lot (S) thence
East on South line thereof 2164 feet; thence North parallel with
East line of Lot (5) to the North line thereof, thence west on the
North line 314- feet to the center of the County Road thence
Southerly along the center of said road to the place of beginning,
Section 2: This ordinance shall be effective on the 31st day after
its enactment by the City Council of TiTard, Oregon.
