ORDINANCE No.67---2-1
AN ORDINANCE FIXING AND REQUIRING THE PAYMENT TO THE CITY RE-
CORDER OF TIGARD OF A FEE FOR SEARCH AND CER`iIFICdTION SERVICES
INCIDENT TO THE CITY LIEN AND BANCROFT BOND DOC 0 TS OF THE CITY OF
TIGARD, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
THE CITY OF TIGARD ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: For each certificate of lien or non-lien of theCity of
Tigard with respect to the Lien Docket and Bancroft Bond
Docket of the City of Tigard concerning each lot, tract or parcel of
real property requiring a search or examination of the City's records,
there shall be paid to the City Recorder of the Citv of Tigard a fee
of Two Dollars ($2.00). Such fee shall either accompany the request
to the City Recorder forthe lien and bond docket search, or shall be
invoiced to the person, firm or corporation requesting such service
along with delivery of the lien or non-lien certificate.
Section 2: All fees derived from lien and bond docket searches and
certificates shall be General Fund revenues of the City
of Tigard and shall be deposited and accounted for as such,
Section_3: Inasmuch as it is necessary for the peace, health and
safety of the people of the City of Tigard that provision
be made to defray the cost of the search and certification services
in this ordinance described with the least possible delay, an emer-
gency is hereby declared to exist, and this ordinance shall become
effective upon its passage by the Council and approval by the Mayor.
