AN ORDINANCE Abi.",EXIPiG TO THE CITY OF TIGARD LANDS OF
JAMES A. MASON and JOAN I. MASON, being Lot 35, Rolling Hills No,2,
WASHINOTOI COUNTY, OREGON
WHEREAS, the owners of the hereinafter d3scribcd lands have
petitioned the City of Tigard to annex the sale to tho City, and have
filed consen tuaid annexatior vitt, the city RrenrG ;� under date of
the 25 day ofSeptember 1967; and
WHEREAS, the lands hereinafter described and proposed to be
annexed are contiguous to *..'re corporate limits of the City of Tigard
and are not within the corrc>ra`e limits of any city and lie who'.ly
within the County of Washington, State of Oreren, and are, in all re-
spects, qualified to be annexed to the City of Tigard; and
4HEREAS, by Ordinance No.67-55 duly en;,cted by the City Council
of Tigard on the _25 day ofSeptember , 1�'6T, t::e City Council of
Tigard did elect to dispense rath submitting the anne�::ation proposal to
the registered voters of the City of Tigard, and did by said ordinance
set Monday the 23 day of October 1967, at the hour of 8:00
o'clock p.m, at the City Hail, Tigard., Oregon, the time and place
for public hearing by the Council of said annexation proposal; and
WHEREAT , said hearing of October 23, 1967 was duly
publicized by notice published once each wee fol two successive- weeks,
or three publishings in all, to-fait: On the 5 da,y of October ,
1967, the 12 day of October 1907; and the 19 day of
October , 1967,_in the TiCara times, a newspaper of general
circulation and published in the City of Tigard, Oregon; that an affi-
davit of said publication is on file herein and that notice cf said
hearing was further given by pouting in four public and conspicuous
places within the City of Tigard for a like pe^iou and that the affi-
davit of the City Recorder with respect to said posting is on file
herein.; and
WHEREAS, the hearing on said proposal was duly and regularly
held at the City Hall, City of Tigard, on October 23 , 1967 at the
hour of 8:00 O'clock P.M., whereat all interested persons and registered
voters of the City desiring to be heard, were heard, and said hearing
was duly closed; and
WHEREAS, it appears that all statutory requirements for the
annexation of t::: following described area to the City of Tigard have
received full coapl.iance and that said area may be-lawfully annexed to
the City of Tigard,
NOW, TNEREFORE,
THE CITY OF TIGARD ORDAINS AS FOLLO,,IS:
Section 1: That all of the following described lands be, and the same
arc, hereby annexed to the City of Tigard, and the bound-
aries of the City of Tigard be, and they are, hereby extended to
include the following described lands within the said boundaries:

Lot 35, ROLLING HILLS No. 2, Washington County,
Oregon.
Section 2: That the Recorder of the City of Tigard be, and she is
hereby directed, within 10 days fro the data hereof,
to make and submit to the Secretary of State of Dreison:
a. A certified copy of chis ordinance of annexation
b. A certified copy, of,tne statement of consent of
the landownera in the territory annexed
C. A certified copy of Ordinance t10.67-55 whereby the
City Council drela'red that no eie:ctio:: is required
in tho City,
and to file herein the ackrowledg,nent of the Sec.ctary of State of
said filing.
Section 3: That the Recorder of the City of Ti and be, and she is
hereby directed, within 10 days froc, ,, ,e date hereof, to
file with each cf the Department of Revenue and T.axacion and the
Department of Records and Elections of the County of Wasnington, the
following:
a. A certified copy of this or_ina±:e,:! of annexation
b. certified copy of Ordinnce NO-67-55 ,
and that a copy of this Ordinance be directed to the Office of the
Washington County Surveyor,
and to file herein the ac.cnowledgments of said Departments of said
filings.
Section 4: The cnnexation hereoy ordained shall be effective on the
date of filA na with the Secretnry of State of Orepson the
copies of pro e dingsJin Section 2 hereof r•xquired to be filed,
and from and after said date the hereinabove described and annexed
territory shall be and remain a part of the City of `i_gard.
PASSED: By the Council, by unanimous vote of all Council members
