All ORDINANCE ANNEXING To THE CITY OF TIGARD LANDS OF
GILBERT PAULSEN and YONEIVE A. PAULSEN, in Section 1, Township 2
' South, Range 1 West, W.M., WASHINGTON COUNTY, OREGON
WHEREAS, the ovners of the hereinafter described lands have
petitioned the City of Tigard to annex the sa=e to tt.c City, and have i
filed consent to said annexation with the City Recorder under date of
the 11 day of September , 1967; and
WHEREAS, the lands hereinafter described and proposed to be
annexed are contiguous to the corporate limits of the City of Tigard
and are not within the corporate limits of any city and lie wholly
within the County of Washington, State of Oregon, and are, in all re-
spects, qualified to be annexed to the City of Tigard; and
WHEREAS, by Ordinance No.67-.50 duly enacted by the City Council
of Tigard on the 11 day of September 1967, the City Council of
Tigard did elect to dispense with submitting the annexation proposal to
the registered voters of the City of Tigard, and did by ..^,a_id ordinance
set Monday the 9 day of October1967, at the hour of 8:00
o'clock p.m. at.the City Hall, Tigard_Oregon, as the time and place
for public hearing by the Council of said annexation proposal; and
WHEREAS, said hearing of October 9 967 _ was duly
publicized by notice published once vac- h ti+ee Dior two successive weeks,
or three publlshin,-,s in all, to-:lit: On the 21_ day of September ,
1967, the 28 day of _Septemberlyc7, and the day of
ftober 1967, in ti-ie Tigard 1!mes, a newspaper of general
circulat'on rrid published in the City oC Tigard, Oregon; that an affi-
davit oY said publication is on file herein and that notice cf said
hearing was further given by posting in four public and conspicuous
places within the City of Tigard for a like period and that the affi-
davit of the City Recorder with respect to said poctin is on file
herein; and
WHEREAS, the hearing on said proposal was duly and regularly
held at the City Hall, City of Tigard, on Oct r g � 1967 at the
hour of 8:00 O'clock P.M., whereat all interested persons and registered
voters of the City desiring to be heard, were heerd, and said hearing
was duly closed; and
WHEREAS, it appears that all statutory require:^gents for the
annexation of the following described area to the City of Tigard have

the City of Tigard,
NOW, VER:FORE,
THE CITY OF TIGARD ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: That all of the following described lands be, and the same
are, hereby annexed to the City of Tigard, and the bound-
aries of the City of Tigard be, and they are, hereby extended to
include the following described lands within the said boundaries:

Beginning at a point in the centerline of the County Road, South
0035' West 836.5 feet from the northeast corner of the W,W.Graham
D,L.Cr, in Township 2 South, Range 1 West, W.M., and running
thence along the centerline of said County Road South 0°35' West
449. feet to the intersection with the center line of the East
and West County road; thence along the centerline of County road
South 89044' West 966,9 feet to the southwest corner of that
certain tract of land conveyed by deed from John W. Keller et al
to Elizabeth Keller and recorded in book 116, page 469, Deed
Records of Washington County, Oregon; running thence North 0029'
20" West along the westerly line of said tract 449 feet to an
iron pipe; thence North 89044' East 975.3 feet to the place of
beginning, EXCEPTING any portion thereof lying within the bound-
aries of roads, highways, and that tract of land conveyed to the
Tigard School District No. 23 and recorded in Book 606, page 67,
Deed REcords of said County.

Section 2:, That the Recorder of the City of Ticcard be, and she is
hereby directed, within 1U days from the sate hereof,
to make and submit, to the Secretary of State of .:rr. ;rm:
a, A certified copy of this ordinance of annexation
b. A certified copy of the statement of consent of
the landowners in the territory annexed
C. A certified copy of Ordinance ;10.67-50 whereby the
City Council declared that no election is required
1n the City,
and to file herein the acknowled:;ment of the Secretary of State of
said filing.
Section 3: That the Recorder of the City of Tigard be, and she is
hereby directed, within 10 days from ..;:c date hereof, to
file with each of the Department of Revenue and "Taxation and the
Department of records ar,d Elections of the County of iiasnington, the
following:
a. A certified copy of this ordinance of annexation
b. A certified copy of Ordinance AIo.67-50
and that a copy of this Ordinance be directed to the Office of the
Washington County Surveyor,
and to file herein the acknowledgments of said Depart.rents of said
filings.
Section 4: The annexation hereby ordained shall be effective on the
date of filing with the Secretary of State of Oregon the
copies of proceedings as in Section 2 hereof- renuirea to be filed,
and from and after said date the hereinabove de5crlbed and annexed
territory shall be and remain a part of the City of Tigard.
PASSED: By the Council, by unanimous vote of all Council members
present, after being read three times by number and
title only, thin th day of October1967.
