Ordinance No. 67-50 S F CITY OF TIGARD, OREGON ORDINANCES No. 6 7 - 5O AN ORDINANCE SETTING; HEARING WITH RESPEClI TO PROPOSED ANNEXA- TION OF THE LANDS OF GILHERT PAULSEN and YONEIVE A. PAULSEN In Section 1, Township 2 South, Range 1 West, Willamette Meridian, WASHINGTON COUNTY, OREGON, AND DIRECTING GIVING OF NOTICE THEREOF. WHEREAS, there has heretofore been filed with the City Re- corder of the City of Tigard, petition for annexation of certain lands in Section 1, T2S, R1W, W.M., Washington County, Oregon, as hereinafter, described; and WHEREAS, ::aid premises are contigucus to the City of Tigard and not within the corporate :Limits of any other City, and lie wholly within the County of Wa.shin;Lon, State of Oregon; and WHEREAS, it appears that said premises may properly be annexed to the City of Tigard without submitting the question to the registered voters of the territory, since the owners thereof, GILBERT PAULSEN and YONEIVE A. PAULSEN have by signed petition requested and consented to said annexation; NOW, THERL3ORE, 'I'Hfr Ci`1'Y OF TIGARD ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Tigard does hereby elect to dispense with submitting the question of the annexation of the hereinafter described premises to the registered voters of the City. W. Graham D.L.C., in Township 2 South, Range 1 West, W.M. , and running thence along the centerline of said County Road, South 00 35' West 449. feet to the inter- section with the centerline of the East and West Count;; road; thence along the centerline of County Road, South 89044' West 966.9 feet to the Southwest corner of that certain tract of land conveyed by deed from John W. Keller et al to Elizabeth Keller and recorded in Book 116, page 469, Deed Records of Washington County, Oregon; runninp thence North 0029120" West along the ;westerly line of said tract 449 feet to an iron pipe; thence North 890 44' East 975.3 feet to the place of beginning; EXCEPTING any portion thereof lying within the boundaries of roads, highways, and that tract of land conveyed to the Tigard School District No. 23 and recorded in Book 606, page 67, Deed Records of said County.
