WHEREAS, there has heretofore been filed with the City Re-
corder
e corder of the City of Tigard, petition for annexation of certain
lands being a portion of Lot 9, Frewing's Orchard Tracts, 2 231,W.M.
'Washingtion County, Oregon, as hereinafterdescribed; and
WHEREAS, said premises are -contiguous to the City of Tigard
}; andnotwithin the corporate limits of any other City, and lie
wholly within the County of Washington, State of Oregon; and
WHEREAS, it appears that said premises may properly be
annexed to the City of Tigard without submitting the question to
t 'the registered voters of the City, since the owners thereof, ¢
i JACK G. RIVERMAN and BARBARA J. RIVERMAN
•have by signed petition requested and consented to said annexation;

NOW, THEREFORE,
•` ' THE CITY OF TIGARD ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS:
Section l: That ,the City. Council of the City of Tigard does hereby
elect to dispen.�e with submitting the question of the
annexation of the hereinafter described premises to the registered ,
voters of the City.
Section 2:: That Monday, he '14 day of August , 1967 at the
hour of 8:00 p.m., at the City. Hall in the City of
Tigard, be,. and the same is, hereby fixed as the date, time and place
for public hearing before the City Council of Tigard of the petition

x' for annexation of the hereinafter. described lands to the City of
.Tigard; and all registeredvotersof the City may appear at said
r. time and place and be heard on the question of said annexations
Section 3: The.City. Recorder of the City of Tigard be, and she is

Township 2 South, Range 1 West, Willamette Meridian, Washing-
ton County, Oregon, according to the duly recorded,plat thereof,
., which portion is more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the Northwestern corner of said Lot 9, in
the center of Garratt Avenue (County Rd..No.1067) and running
thence'aouth, 24o.30'East,' along the Southwesterly line of said
' Lot"9. 149.26 feet; thence North 59041' East 220.0 feet,to '
the true point of beginning of the herein described premises;
thence continuing North 59041' East 40.0 feet to a point;
