Ordinance No. 67-24 4 CITY OF TIGARD, OREGON ORDINANCE No.67-Tt, AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 1 of ORDINANCE No.67-19 PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL ON MARCH 13, 1967, TO CORRECT THE DESCRIPTION OF LANDS OF SCHOOL DISTRICT No.23, WASHINGTON COUNTY, OFXGON ANNEXED TO THE CITY OF TIGARD BY ORDINANCE No.67-19. WHEREAS, by Ordinance No.67-19 duly passed by the City Council of Tigard on March 13, 1967, certain lands of School Dis- trict No.23, Washington County, Oregon as therein described were annexed to the City of Tigard; and WHEREAS, the description of said lands as contained in Sec- tion 1 oi' said Ordinance No.67-19 is ambiguous and requires clari- fication, NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF TIGARD ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS: Section l: That Section l of Ordinance No.67-19 enacted by the Council of Tigard on March 13, 1967, be, and the same is hereby, amended to read as follows: 'A parcel of land lying in the W.W.Graham D.L.C. No. 39 T2S, R1W, W.M., Washington County, Oregon, and being all that portion of the property described in that certain -deed to Yoneive A. Paulsen recorded in Book 551, page 351,Washington County Record of Deeds, lying Northeasterly= of the right of way of the relocated Beaverton-Tigard Highway and Westerly of Parcel No.II conveyed to the State of Oregon, bVand through its State Highway Com- mission in that t_rtain deed recorded May 5,1965 in Book 551, page 352, Deed Records of Washington County, Oregon." Section 2: That the Recorder of the City of Tigard be, and she Is hereby directed forthwith to make and submit certified copies of this Ordinance to the following offices: a. Office of the Secretary of State of Oregon b. Department of Revenue and Taxation of Washington County, Oregon C. Department of Records and Elections of Washington County, Oregon d. Office of the County Surveyor of Washington County, Oregon and to file herein the acknowledgments of said Departments of said filings. Section 3: Inasmuch as it is necessary for the peace, health and safety or the people of the City of Ti.gtr4, Oregon that the description of the premises annexed by Ordinance No.67-19 be clarified with the least possible delay, to preserve the integrity of the boundaries of the City of Tigard, an emergen^.y is hereby Page 1 - ORDINANCE No.67 24 declared to exist, and this Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its enactment by the Council, approval by the Mayor, and filing same with the Office of Secretary of State of Oregon.
