AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TO THE CITY OF TICARD 'LA's:DS OF
SCHOOL DISTRICT #23 (Tigard), in the SW1/4 of the NEI/4 of Sec. 1,
T1S, R1W, W.M., 194SHINGTOI: COUNTY, OREGON
WHEREEAS, the ovm.)rs of the hereinafter described lands have
petitioned the City of Tigard to annex the same to tr.4 City, and have
filed consent to said annexation orith the City Recorder under date of
the 13th day of February , 1967; and
WESREAS, the lands hereinafter described and proposed to be
annexed are conti.-nous to the corporate limits of the City of Tigard
and are not within the corporate limits of any city and lie wholly
within the County of Washington, State of Oregon, ar d are, in all re-
spects, qualified to be annexed to the City of Tigard; and
WHEREAS, by Ordinance I10.67-7 duly enacted by the City Council
of Tigard on the _13 day of Februa",�_ , 1S'-7, t City Cou:axil of
Tigard did elect to dispense with submitting the annexation proposal to
the registered voters of the City of Tigard, and did by said ordinance

for public hearing by the Council of said annexation proposal; and
WH:REaS, said hearing of March 13, 1967 was duly
publlci.zed by notice published once each weelc for tr<o successive weeks,
or three publishings in all,

davit of said publication is on file herein and that notice rf said
hearing was further given by posting in four public and conspicuous
places within tha City of Tigard for a like period and that the affi-
davit of the City Recorder with respect to said posti-Z is on file
herein; and
WHEFFAS, the hearing On said proposal eras duly and regularly
held at the City Hall, City of Tigard, on March 13 , 1967 at the
hour of S:CO O'clock P.M., whereat all interested ;rso:Zs and registered
voters of the City desiring; to be heard, were heard, and said hearing
was duly' closed; and
WHEREAS, it appears that all statutory requirements for the
annexation of the following described area to the City of Tigard have
received full compliance and that said area nal ba:ls.rfullt annexed to
the City of Tigard,

THE CITY OF TIGARD ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS:
Section l: That all of the following described lands be, and the same
are, hereby annexed to the City of Tiva;d, and the bound-
aries of the City of Tigard be, and they are, hereby c:ctended to
include the following described lands within the said boundaries:

TRACT T: The North 214.5 feet of that portion lying
northerly of the North boundary line of the Beaverton-
Tigard Highway right of way, of those certain lands of
School District x+23 (Tigard) Washington County, Oregon,
known and designated as Tax Lot 1800 2 South 1 IAC in
the Southwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of See-
tion 1, Township 2 South, Flange I West, W.M., Washington
County, Oregon, limited in area to not to exceed 2.5 acres.
TRACT II: The South 214.5 feet of that portion lying
nor�rly of the North bounk y line of the Beaverton-
Tigard Highway right of way, of those certain lands of
School District 023 (Tigard) Washington County, Oregon,
known and designated as Tax Lot 1800 2 South 1 IAC in
the Southwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Sec-
tion 1, Township 2 South, Range 1 West, W.M., Washington
County, Oregon, to include all of Tax. Lot 1800 2S1 IAC
not included in TRACT 1.
Section 2: That the Recorder of the City of Tilaraba,.anJ she is
hereby directed, within 20 days from the date hereof,
to make and submit to the Secretary of State of Dre;on:
a. A certified copy of this ordinance of annexation
b. A certified copy of the statement of cunsent of
the landovmers in the territory annexed
C. A certified copy of Ordinance No.67-7 whereby the
City Council declared that no ela:ctic:: is required

and to file herein the acknowledgment of the Secretary of State of
said film;.
Section 3: ''`hat the Recorder of the City of Tic,srd be, and she is
~hereby directed, within 10 days fro dati> hereof, to
file with each of the Department of Revenue and Taxazlon and the
Department of Records and Elections of the County of W snington, the
following: >
a. A eertlfieu copy of thla ordinance of annexation
b. a certified copy of Ordinance No.67�7 ,
and that a copy of this Ordinance be directed to thn Office of the
Washington County Surveyor,
and to file herein the acknowledgments of said Departments of said
a filings.

Section 4: The annexation hereby ordained ahall be effective on the
e date of filing with the Secretary of State of Oregon the
copies of proceedings as in Section 2 hereof required to be filed,
and from and after said date the hereinabove de�-r,ribad and annexed
territory shall be and remain a part of the City of ."igard.
