AN CRDIN:INCE SETTING HEARING WITH RESPECT TO PROPOSED ANITJ;XA-
TION OP THE LANDS OF Robert L. Fullhart II and Donna T. Full.hart,
being Lot 7 Dn1 Vonte Subdivision
WASHINGTON COUNTY, OREGON, AND DIRECTING GIVING OF NOTICE '"_I'IR^-.OF. i
WHEREAS, there has heretofore been filed �,71th the City Re-
corder of the City of Tigard, petition for annexation of certain
lands, being Lot 7 DEL MONTE Subdivision,
Washington Countv, Oregon, and
WHEREAS, eaia pramises are contiguous 1-..o tha city of Tigard
and rot within the corporate limits of any otter City and lie
wholly within ;he County of Washington, State of- Orecton: and
WHEREAS, it appears that said premises may properly be
annexed to the City of Tigard i:ait-hout sabm.ittinc the gL sstion to
the registered voters of the. City, since the owners thoreof,
ROBERT L. FUL•L13ART II and DONNA T. FULLHART
have by signed petition requested and consented to said annexation;
NOW, THEREFORE,

Section l: That the City Council of the City of Tigard does hereby
elect to dispense with submitting the qu>stion of the
annexation of the hereinafter described premises to the registere_i
voters of the City.
Section 2: That Itondav, the I,7tjrlay of October, 1.966 at the
hour of 8:00 p.m., at the City Hall in the City of
f-rigard, be, and the same is, hereby fixed as the date, time and
place for public hearing before the City Council. of. Tigard of the
n,etition of Robert L. Fullhart II and Donna T. Fullhart
for annexation of the hereinafter described lands to the City of
Ticrard, and all registered voters of the Ci'r.y may appear at said
time and place and be heard on the question of said annexation.
Section 3. The City Recorder of the City of Tigard be, and she is
hereby directed to give notice of said hearing by pub-
lication once each woels for two successive week, or three rublish- :
ings in all., prior to the date of the hearing, in the Tigard Times,
a newspaper of general circulation in the City, and said Recorder
be, and she is hereby further directed to post notices of said hear
ing in four public places in the City of Tigard for a like period.
Section 4: That the area proposed to be annexed be, and the same
is hereby described as follows:

I, MONNIE S. ANDREWS, hereby certify that I am the duly
appointed, qualified, and acting Recorder of the City of
Tigard, Oregon.
I further certify that I have compared the herewith
copy of Ordinance No.# 66-40 of the City of Tigard with
the original in my possession as custodian of the official
records of the City of Tigard, and that the herewith copy
is a correct transcript of the whole of Ordinance No. 66-40
IN WITNESS WHEREOF I have hereunto set my hand and the
seal of the City of Tigard this 18th day of October 1966.

section 5: Inasmuch as the hearing of the patition for annexation
of the lands herein described should be conducted with
the least possible delay, an emergency is hereby declared to exist,
and it is declared to be necessary .for the peace, health and safety
of the City of Tigard that this ordinance become effective upon its
passage bythe Council and signature by the Mayor.
PASSED: By the Council, by unanimous vots of all Council
members present, after being read three times by
title only, this 26 day of September 1966.
