AN ORDINANCE SETTING HEARING WITH RESPECT TO PROPOSED ANNEXA-
TION OF THE LANDS OF Walter L. Stahl, Herbert T. Watkins, Jr. et al
In Section 336 T1S, R1W, W.M.
WASHINGTON COUNTY, OREGON, AND DIRECTING GIVING OF NOTICE THEREOF.
WHEREAS, there has heretofore been filed with the City Re-
corder of the City of Tigard, petition for annexation of certain
lands, in Section 36, TIS, R1W, W.M.
Washington County, Oregon, as hereinafter described; and
WHEREAS, said premises are contiguous to the City ooflTigard
and not within the corporate limits of any other City,
ie
wholly within the County of Washington, State of Oregon; and
WHEREAS, it appears that said premises may properly be
annexed to the City of Tigard without submitting the question to
the registered voters of the City, since the owners thereof,
WALTER L. STAHL, HERBERT T. WATKINS, JR. et 81
have by signed petition requested and consented to said annexation;
NOW, THEREFORE,
THE CITY OF TIGARD ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: That the City COunc11 of the City of Tigard goes hereby
elect to disponee with submitting the question of the

annz voters of the City.

Beginning at the northwest corner of that certain treat of land in Section 36,
T18, R1W, W.M. conveyed to Walter R. Stahl at ux by deed recorded on page 373
in Book 578, Washington County, Oregon, Deed Records, said beginning point
described in said deed as being S.890E. 1887.6 feet and S.Ooll'W. 290 feet of
the northwest corner of the George Richardson D.L.r. in said Section 36.

Section 5: Inasmuch as the hearing of the petition for annexation
of the lands herein described should be conducted with
the least poosible delay, an emergency is hereby declared to exist,
and it is declared to be necessary for the peace, health and safety
Of the City of Tigard that this ordinance become effective upon its
passage by the Council and signature by the Mayor.
