AN ORD VANCE GRA-NTINCv A ZONE CHANGE WITH RESPECT TO TITS
LANDS OF TREVOR DOWNES, BEING TAX LOT 100, 1 S 1, 35 DC, AT
11865-67 S.W.GREENBURG ROAD TIGARD OREGON FROM R-5 to A-2.
WHEREAS, the hereinafter described lands, by action of the
City Council of the City of Tigard, Oregon, pursuant to the Zoning
Code of said city, have heretofore been limited in use to those
uses permitted by said Code under, and have been classified and
zoned for, R-5 (Residential) purposes; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to prescribed procedures, the owner of
said lands has applied to the City of Tigard for reclassification
of said property and change of zone thereof to permit the use
thereof for A-2 (Multiple Dwelling) purposes, and said application
has been duly publicized and public hearing held by the City Plan-
ning Commission on September 30, 1965, after due and legal notice;
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission has recommended appro-
val of said zone change to the City Council, and due and legal
notice of City Council hearing having been given by publication in
the Tigard Times, and the City Council having heard same at its
regular meeting of October 25, 1965, and the City Council finding
that no public detriment will result from the granting of said
petition, and that it is in the public interest that said zone
change be approved, and the property re-zoned from R-5 (Residential)
to A-2 (Multiple Dwelling);
NOW, THEREFORE,
THE CITY OF TIGARD ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS:
Section l: That the following described lands be, and the same are
hereby, re-classified for Multiple Dwelling use and are
here'
coned as A-2, for use in accordance with the A-2. Multiple
Dwellip ng`classifieation of the Zoning Code of the City of Tigard,
and subject to all conditions, limitations and requirements thereof,
which Zoning Code with respect to the A-2 classification !.s by refer-
ence herein made a part hereof:
Beginning at a point on the Easterly line of the John
L. Hicklin claim, in vection 35, TIS, R1W, W.M., Wash-
ington County, 0regon, that is N 89°23' East 89.4 feet
from the Southeast corner of Lot 8, Tiggardville Park;
thence from said point of beginning N 45°06' E. along
the Easterly line of the Hicklin claim, 212.2 feet to
the centerline of the county road; thence N 45046' W.
along the centerline of said county road 120 feet;
thence S 45°06' W. 393 feet; thence S 45'46 ' E. 120 'feet
to the Easterly line of the Hicklin claim; thence
N 459061 E. along the Easterly line of the Hicklin claim,
180.8 feet to the point of beginning.
Section 2: This ordinance shall be effective on the 31st day after
