ORDINANCE NO. 65 - 17
AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A ZONE CHANGE WITH RESPECT TO THE
LANDS OF RUTH J. GODFREY, _BEING A PORTION OF LOT 6, NORTH TIGARD-
VILLE ADDITION WASHINGTON COUNTY, OREGON.
WHEREAS, the hereinafter described lands, by action of the
City Council of the City of Tigard, Oregon, pursuant to the Zoning
Code of said city, have heaetofore been limited in use to those uses
permitted by said Code under, and have been classified and zoned for,
R-5 (Residential - Single Family) purposes; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to prescribed procedures, the owner of said
lands has applied to the City of Tigard for reclassification of said

A-2 (Multiple Dwelling) purposes, and said application has been duly
publicized andublic hearing held by the City Planning Commission
on May 20, 1.$65 after due and legal notice; and
WHRREAS, the City Planning Commission has recommended approval
of said zone change to the City Council, and due and legal notice
of City Council hearing having been given by publication in the
Tigard Times, and the City Council finding that no public detriment
will result from the granting of said petition, and that it is in
the public interest that said zone change be approved, and the prop-
erty rezoned from R-5 (Residential - Single Family) to A-2 (Multiple
Dwelling);
NOW, THEREFORE,
THE CITY OF TIGARD ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: That the following described lands be, and the same are
hereby, reclassified for multiple dwelling use, and are
hereby zoned as A-2 (Multiple Dwelling) for use in accordance with
A-2 multiple dwelling classification of the Zoning Code of the City
of Tigard, and subject to all conditions, limitations and require-
ments thereof, which Zoning Code with respect to the A-2 classifi-
cation is by reference herein made a part hereof:
All of Lot 6, North Tigardville Addition as the same is
' designated on the recorded plat thereof, recorded with
the Recorder of Conveyances, Washington County, Oregon
in P at,Book 2 page 35; EXCEPT the following described
tract: Beginning at the Southwest corner of said Lot 6
and running thence S 57"40' E. 101.17 feat along the
southerly line of said Lot 6 to a point; thence N 39°51' E.
164.17 feet parallel to:the westerly line of said Lot 6 to
an iron rod; thence N 57040' W. 101.17 feet to a point on
the westerly line of said Lot; thence along said westerly
line S 39°51' W. 164.17 feet to the place of beginning.
Section 2: This ordinance shall be effective on the 31st day after
its enactment by the City Council of Tigard, Oregon.
