ORDINANCE No. 65- 15
AN ORDINANCE AHENDING ORDINANCE No. 63-2 (Building Code),
PRESCRIBING FEES FOR ISSUANCE OF-PERMITS, WITH RESPECT TO -
Sea_ion 5 (a) THEREOF.PRESCRIBING. FEES.FOR ISSUANCE OF BUILDING
PERMITS AND.DECIARING AN EMERGENCY.
THE CITY OF TIGARD ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: Section 5 (a) of Ordinance Na. 63-2 enacted by the
City Councilofthe City of Tigard on the 25th day
of March, 1963, be, and the same is hereby, amended to read as
follows:
"Section 5. FEES.
(a) A minimum of $10.00 shall be paid .for the issuance of
any permit for new construction of a total valuation
of $1,000.00 or less, and otherwise as follows:
1. For each additional $1 000. or fraction thereof
to and including $25,00:, at the rate of $3.00
per thousand valuation; '
2. For each additional $1,000. or fraction thereof
in excess of $25,000: to and including $501000.,
at the rate of $2.50 per thousand valuation;
3. For each: additional $1,000. or fraction thereof
in excess of $50.000. to and including $100,000.,
at the rate of $1.50 per thousand valuation;
4. For each additional $1,000. or fraction thereof
in excess of $100,000., at the rate of $1.00 per
thousand valuation.
i Section'2. Inasmuch as it is necessary for the peace, health and
safety of the City of Tigard that this ordinance be-
come effective with the least possible delay, an emergency is hereby
declared, and this ordinance shall become effective upon its passage
by the City Council and approval by the Mayor.
PASSED: By the Council., by unanimous vote of all Council
members present, after being read three times
by title only this 24 day of May, 1965. '
