f ORDINANCE NO. 64 -
AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TO THE CITY OF TIGARD, OREGON, LANDS
COMPRISING A PORTION OF LOT 1, AMENDED PLAT OF NORTH TIGARDVILLE
ADDITION.

City of Tigard and is wholly within the County of Washington and
none of said area is included within the boundaries of any other
incorporated city; and

Council of the City of Tigard on the 14th day of September, 1964
the City Council did elect to dispense with submitting the question
of annexation of said area to the registered voters, and a hearing
was called to be held on the 28th day of September, 1964 at 8;00 p,m<
at the City Hall on Main Street in the City of Tigard, with respect
to said petition for the annexation of the hereinafter described
area; and
WHEREAS, notice of said hearing was given by publication
once each week for two successive weeks, or three publishings in

WHEREAS, a hearing with respect to said petition for annex-
ation was duly and regularly held, at the regular meeting of the
City Council on September 28, 1964 at 8:00 p.m., in the City Hall
on Main Street in the City of Tigard, whereat the owners of said
p m mixes, RICHARD LINDNER and JqY J. LINDNER, appeared by agent
in favor of said annexation, and no one appeared in opposition to
said annexation; and
® WHEREAS, after due deliberation, the City Council of the
City of Tigard, in regular meeting assembled on the M day of
A,4- _, 1964, duly passed a motion favoring the annexation of
the hereinafter described area,
NOW, THEREFORE,
THE CITY OF TIGARD ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: That the following described lands of RICHARD LINDNER
and JOY J. LINDNER, be, and the same are hereby
annexed to the City of Tigard, Oregon,and the boundaries of the
City of Tigard are hereby extended to include the following de-
scribed lands:
A portion of Lot 1, North Tigardville Addition, Amended
Plat, Washington County, Oregon, more particularly de-
scribed as follows:
Beginning at the Northeast corner of said Lot 1, and

running thence West along the North line thereof 175.80
feet to the Northeast corner of that certain tract con-
veyed to Joseph Yocum et ux recorded June 23, 1945,
i Book 245, page 277, Washington County Deed Records;
thence South along the East line of said Yocum Tract
612.5 feet to a point; thence continuing South along
the East line of said YocumTract 443.85 feet to an iron
pipe in the Southerly line of said Lot 1; thence Easterly
along the Southerly line of said Lot 1 to theSoutheast
corner thereof; thence North along the East line of said
Lot 1 to the point of beginning.
Section 2: That the Recorder of the City of Tigard be, and he is
hereby, directed to make and submit to the Secretary
of State:
(1 A copy of this Ordinance of,annexat:on
ik (2� A copy of the statement of consent of the landowners
of the territory annexed, to-wit: the said petition
for annexation containing said consent.

Section 3: That this ordinance shall be effective on the date of

filing with the Secretary of state of the abstract in
Section 2 hereof required to be filed, and from and after said
date the hereinabove described and annexed territory shall be and
