Ordinance No. 64-15 CITY OF T%trARD, OREGON ORDINANCE NO. 64 - 14 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND SUPPLEMENTING SECTION 21-A (PARKING REGULATIONS) OF TRAFFIC ORDINANCE, NO. 63-15, TO REGULATE PARKING ON HIGHWAY 217 and HIGHWAY 99W NEAR THE INTERSECTION THE=OF. WHEREAS, the attention of the City Council of Tigard, Ore- gon, has been directed to the need for reconsideration of traffic flov and arkirte at and in the vicinity of the intersection of Highway 217-and-S. W. Pacific Highway West (99W); and WHEREAS, the City Council does hereby find that it is reasonable and necessary in the public interest and based upon proper consideration of,the public safety and the primary right of the public to the use of said public ways for safe travel, that the parking in the areas hereinafter defined be regulated as follows,• NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF TIGARD ORDAINS AS FOLLMS: Section l: That subsection (1) of Section 21-A (Parking Regula- tions) of Ordinance No. 63-15 be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: "(1) No person shall park a motor vehicle of any kind or character, whether motorized or not, at any time on the easterly side of Highway 217 within that portion of the easterly half of Highway 217 lying south of the intersection of the southerly property line of Pacific Highway West (99W) with the easterly property line of Highway 217, and north of the most southerly access driveway of Knauss Chevrolet Company appurtenant to Lot 5, Tigard Road Gardens, Washington County, Oregon." `Section 2: That Section 21-A (Parking Regulations) of Ordinance No. 63-15 be and the same is hereby amended and supplemented to add to said Section 21-A (Parking Regulations) a necy subsection denoted subsection (1) (a) to read as follows: "(1) (al No person shall park or leave standing a vehicle of any kind or character, whether motorized or not, between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. continuously in excess of two hours, except on Sundays and holidays, on the following portions of Highway 217: 1. That portion of Highway 217 on the westerly side thereof from the north boundary of tax lot loo (Hoffarber residence) to the south boundary of tax lot 490 (Bissett residence). 2. Section 3�. That Section 21-A (Parking Regulations) of ordinance No. 63'-15 be and the same is hereby amended and supplemented to add to said Section 21-A (Parking Regulations) a subsection numbered (2) (a) to read as follows: "(2) (a) No person shall park at any time a ushicle of any kind or character, whether motorized or not, within the right-of-way of S.
