Ordinance No. 64-11 CITY OF TIGARD, OREGON ORDINANCE No. 54 - { AN ORDINANCE SETTING HEARING WITH RESPECT TO PROPOSED ANNEXATION OF A PORTION OF LOT 10, AMENDED PLAT OF NORTH TIG€at3l- VILLE ADDITION, IN SECTION 2, T2S, RM, W.M., WASHINGTON COUNTY, OREGON, AND DIRECTM. GIVING OF NOTICE THEREOF WHEREAS, a petition for the annexation of the following- described lands has been duly filed with the City Recorder of the City of Tigard, said petition alleging that the petitioners who executed same are each and all of the owners of the real property therein described, and as hereinafter described, and that each of them has consented to the annexation of said premises wiVacut sub- mitting of same to a vottl; and WHERBAS, said premises are contiguous to the City of Tigard and are not within the corporate limits of any other city and lie wholly within the County of Washington and State of Oregon; and WHEREAS, it appears that said premises may properly be annexed to the City of Tigard without submitting the question to the registered voters of the city; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF TIGARD ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Tigard does hereby elect to dispense with the submitting of the question of annexation of the hereinafter described premises to the regis- tered voters of the City of Tigard. Section 2: That , rhe day of , 1954 at the our o OO p.m,, the Counc er, City Hall, Main Street, City of Tigard, Oregon, be, and th same are hereby, fixed as the date, time and place for a public hearing by the City Council of the petition of JAMBS WILLOCK and BETTY WILLOCK for annexation of the hereinafter described lands to the City of ` Tigard, and all registered voters of the City may PWear at said time and place end be heard on the question of said annexs1tion. Section 3: That the City Recorder of the City of Tigard be, and he is hereby, directed to give notice of said hearing by publication once each week for two successive weeks, or three ORDINANCE No. `64 - publishings in all, prior to the date of said hearing, in the T igard Times, a newspaper of general circulatica in the City of Tigard, and the City Recorder further be and he is hereby, directed to post notices of said hearing in our public places within the City of Tigard for a like period. Section 4: That the area proposed to be annexed be, and the same is hereby described as follows: All that portion of Lot 10, Amended Plat of North Ti ard- 11 Addition, ....
