AN ORDINANCE SETTIAG HEARING WITH RESPECT TO PROPOSED
ANNEXATION OF TION OF
NOTICERTHEREOF ORCHARD ,
AND
WHEREAS, a petition for the annexation of the following de-
i.-A. t,Aa been duly filed with the City Recorder of the City
of Tigardsaid petition alleging that the petitioners who executed

name are each and all of the owners of the real property therein de-
scribed, and as hereinafter described, and that each of them has
consented to the annexation of said premises without submitting of
same to a vote; and
WHEREAS, said premises are contiguous to the City of Tigard
and are not withu the corporate limits of any other city and lie
wholly within the County of Washington and State of Oregon; and
WHEREAS, it appears that said premises may properly be annexed
to the City of Tigard without submitting the question to the regis-
tered voters of the city;
NOW, THEREFORE,
THE CITY OF TIGARD ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Tigard does hereby
elect to dispense with the submitting of the question
of annexation oftthe hereinafter described premises to the regis-

Sectio.n4: That the area proposed to be annexed be, and the same
is hereby described as follows:
Beginning at the most northerly corner of Tract 49
FREWING'S ORCHARD TRACTS a duly recorded subdivision
and running thence S 54*�7' W. along the northwesterly
lines of Tracts 4 and 3 of said subdivision, and said

Section 5: Inasmuch as it is for the benefit of the City of Tigard
and those interested in the petition for annexation
that this matter be heard with the least possible delay, and it is
necessary for the peace, health and safety of the City of Tigard
that this ordinance become effective with the least possible delay,
an emergency is hereby declared and this ordinance shall become
effective upon its passage by the City Council and approval by the
Mayor.
