AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A ZONE CHANGE WITH RESPECT TO LANDS
OF STAN ADKINS, IN SECTION 2, TOWNSHIP 2 SOUTH, RANGE 1 WEST
W.M., WASHINGTON COUNTY, OREGON (NORTH TIGARDVILLE ADDITION]
WHEREAS the hereinafter described lands, by action of the
City
Council of the City of Tigard, Oregon, p+1rszant to the Zoning
Code of said city, have heretofore been limited in use to those
uses permitted by said Code under, and have bean classified and

WHEREAS, pursuant to prescribedprocedures, the crwner of
said lands has applied to the City of Tigard for reclassification
of said property and change of zone thereof to permit the use '
therecl for A-2 (Multiple Dwelling) purposes, and said application
ras duly publicized and public hearing held by the Planning and
Zoning Commission of the City of Tigard, after legal notice there-
of, on the 29th day of August, 1963; and
WHEREAS, having afforded all interested persons an oppor-
tunity to be heard with respect to said application, and the City
Planning and Zoning Commission finding that no public d-3triment
will result from the granting of said petition, and that it is in
the public interest that said change be approved and the property
rezoned from R-a to A-2; and
WHEREAS, no remonstrances having been filed or appeals taken
-with respect to the recommendation of the City Planning and Zoning
Commission for the granting of said application, and the City
Council of the City of Tigard having duly considered the same at
its regular meeting of September 9, 1963 and due and legal notice
having been given as prescribed by the City Council with respect
to a,hearing of the matter by the City Council of Tigard, Oregon,
and said hearing having been held on the 9th day of September, 1963,
and there being no appearances or remonstrances against the grant-
ing of said application, and the City Council finding that the zone
change petitioned for is not adverse to the public interest, health,
or comfort and convenience of the public and is,consistent with
the ppreservation of the public peace, saety, morals, order and
public welfare, and that said change should be approved;
NOW, THEREFORE,
THE CITY OF TIGARD ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: That the following described lands be, and the same
are hereby, reclassified for multiple dwelling use,
and are hereby zoned as A-2 (Multiple Dwelling), for use in
accordance with the A-2 classification of the Zoning Code of the
