Ordinance No. 62-15 JiDjj,,A1tCE NO. 62- &N OR.DIIsaNCE: GP.ANTING A ZONING CHANGE WITH RESPECT TO ;® TAX LOT , WASHINGTON COUNTY, OREGON, [ KNOWN AS S. GONIlKE IAL STREET, TIGARD, OREGON. WHEREAS, the hereinafter described lands by action of the Washington County Planning Commission and the County Court have heretofore been classified and zoned for A-2 (Multiple Family) dwelling use; and WHEREAS, pursuant to prescribed procedures, C. E. JANOE and EMM J?.NOE, as owners thereof, have applied to the City of Tigard for reclassification of said p coperty and zone change to permit the use thereof for general commercial purposes, and said application was duly considered and a public hearing held, after legal notice thereof, on August 13, 1962; and WHEREAS, after said hearing and due consideration of the matter a finding was made that no public detriment will result from the granting of said petition and that it is in the public interest that said change be approved and the property re-zoned as herein- after stated; NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDAINED by the Council of the CITY OF TIGARD: Section._l: That the following described lands (known as 8825 S.W. Commercial Street, Tigard,Oregon) in Washington County, State of Oregon, be, and the same are, hereby reclassified for se, and are here commercial uby zoned as C-2 (General Commercial) in accordance with the C-2 General C�y $ rcOre onniand subjectctolallon of the Zoning Code for Washington County, conditions, limitations and reqquirements thereof, which Zoning Code with respect to the C-2 classification is by reference herein made a part hereof; said re-zoned lands being described as follows: 0 Southeasterly one-half of Lot Thirty (30) Beginning at a stone at the re-entrant corner on the Easterly line of the George Richardson D.L.C. 438, Township 2 South, Range l West, W,M., and running thence South 420 52' West along said Easterly line 1359.1 feet; thence North 450 12' West along the Northerly line of MORIN'S ADDITION TO TIGARDI a recorded subdivision (now vacated), a distance of 544.3 feet to an iron pipe at the most Easterly corner of Lot 30 thereof, which iron pipe is the true place of beginning of the tract herein described. Thence from the above described true place of begin- ning North 45° 12' West 50.0 feet to a point; thence South 44° 48' West 137.8 feet to a point on the Northeasterly line of County Road Number 1722; thence South 45° 12 East along said road line a distance of 50.0 feet to a point; thence North 440 48' East begin-""^ in the Counto of i37,Ff feet to lite pirate a VCga.auaiaa�„ ..l Washington, State of Oregon. Section 2: As provided by law, all provisions of the Zoning Code for Washington County, Oregon, applicable to the said premises pre-existing the incorporation of the City of Tigard, shall "continue in full force and effect, except as by this ordinance modified.'
