SUBJECT: Truss Joist Floor System in lieu of Stick Framed Floor
Lateral Engineering
It has been reported to me that TJI floor joists are planned to be installed instead
of the specified dimension lumber floor joists.
Although the L sheets show dimension lumber in the details, Truss Joist floor
systems may be substituted for the dimension lumber for the lateral design.
