Tigard, OR 97223 Dear Ms. Henzel: In reference to the mechanical project at One Lincoln (MEC2006- 00465) in which stairwell pressurization fans are being added to four stairwells, please note that all stairwell pressurization fans will be activated upon any smoke detection by an automatic detector in the building's fire alarm system. Programmable relay modules that are part of the fire alarm system will control the fans. Deactivation of the stairwell pressurization fans will take place when the alarm condition has been cleared and the fire alarm system has been reset. This will also be accomplished by the building fire alarm system. Please find the attached pdf files showing the operational matrix outlining control of the stairwell pressurization fans and the riser diagram indicating the stairwell pressurization fan control modules.
