As for the ABS drain pipe, I removed the drain pipe that was buried about 6 inches below the surface at the rear of the building. The drain pipe in the wall plane is nothing more than 3" black ABS, about 2 feet long, running vertical and is not connected to anything at the top or bottom. it is a hollow tube. It is located at the very edge of the foundation that will eventually be removed when remodeling takes place within the next 1.5 years. What's your thought? Is this sufficient? DEMO COMPLETED AT 2009 -DATE SEWER CAP NEEDS TO BE VERIFIED BY CONTRACTOR OF RECORD FOR THE DEMO- BY VIRTUE OF THE LANGUAGE OF THE PERMIT. OTHER THAN THAT, THE NOTICABLE ABS LINE WITHIN THE WALL PLANE APPEARS TO BE NOTHING MORE THAN PART OF THE RAIN DRAIN SYSTEM- FILL PIPE WITH SOLID MATERIAL, E.G. CONCRETE AND REMOVE RAIN DRAIN PIPING AT THE REAR OF THIS BUILDING.
